BALI: BEST DATE NIGHT RESTAURANTS 😍💋

Sharing my best restaurant eats in Canggu and Seminyak during my 5D4N stay in Bali. To provide some context, I was based in Canggu and hence most of the recommendations are from there!

1. Lusa By/Suka

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

👍Why I like it: Great service and very affordable eats. The wagyu steak was around S$20 and more than sufficient for 3pax. The handmade seafood pasta was another standout dish. Cocktails were very reasonably priced (around S$10-S$15). Desserts are amazing (we got the tiramisu and chocolate and whiskey). Reservations are recommended as the place tends to get very crowded.

2. Shichirin Canggu Japanese Teppanyaki & Sushi by Wonderspace

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐

👍Why I like it: A new boy on the block and less than 10min walk from Berawa beach. The beef teppanyaki was an absolute delight as it melted into our mouths. Very affordable too! About S$60 for 3 pax with a 10% discount (for guests at Lalasa Villas). Don’t order the sushi (not authentic).

3. Kaum Bali

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

👍Why I like it: Second visit to this restaurant and the service is an absolute stand-out. Very authentic Indonesian food - the pork belly skewers, charcoal fish, crackers are highlights. They also prepared a birthday surprise for my mom’s birthday.

4. Riviera Bistro

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

👍Why I like it: Super authentic Italian food. I love the handmade pastas and the seafood is so fresh - cue the seared barramundi, chargrilled octopus and warm squid. All cooked perfectly. Cocktails are generally less than S$14. The total bill came up to about S$104 for 3 pax. We ordered 2 starters, 3 mains, and 2 drinks.

5. Alma Tapas Bar

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐

👍Why I like it: Interesting renditions of Spanish tapas. Very fresh seafood and the hamachi ceviche was absolutely spot-on. One of the more affordable Spanish places in Canggu costing around S$60 for 3pax. We ordered 6 plates and 3 drinks.

6. Seasalt

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

👍Why I like it: Came to this place on my previous trip to Bali with friends and it is amazing with front seat views to the beautiful sunset. We tried most of the cocktails on the menu and they were all very good. Very fresh seafood and they served interesting complimentary appetisers. Slightly pricey but it is worthwhile visiting for a special occasion.
