Believe it or not building your dream career is more than just building a good resume and LinkedIn profile or interviewing well 💡

Building your dream career involves dedication and habit building in your every day life.

This means taking care of your health so you can perform your best at work, caring for yourself mentally so you don’t get burnt out and you can make good decisions for your career and life, and being in alignment with your best self and not neglecting your personal goals.

Some ways I do this:

✅ I have hobbies outside of work

✅ I take my PTO

✅ I keep a list of work accomplishments and projects on my personal laptop so I don’t lose the accomplishments I have made and can use to apply to later roles as I grow

✅ I have clear professional goals and don’t let work drama or workplace politics cloud those or get in the way

✅ I have relationships outside of work and I don’t co-mingle with coworkers

✅ I eat healthy

✅ I workout
