Here's a little bit of insight on how my active rest days looks like.

First off I start with a light filling meal, so no heavy processed foods. I do this especially on my rest days because I'm not as active which means I will burn less calories than usual. In general I also just eat less on days like this. I begin by eating a light, healthy meal without any heavy processed foods. I do this particularly on my rest days because I'm less active, which means I'll burn fewer calories overall. On days like this, I also generally tend to eat less. 🍽️

Walking is an easy method to be somewhat active on a rest day. It is critical for your overall health to walk at least 10,000 steps per day. To preserve general health, most people should aim for 10,000 steps each day. If you want to lose weight, 10,000 steps a day is an excellent starting point, but it all really depends on your calorie intake, diet, and metabolism. 🚶🏼‍♀️

If walking isn't really your thing but you want to get into it I recommend putting on a podcast, it really helps to take your mind off of what you're actually doing.
