Does anyone else feel lost?

From a very young age I was always taught to be an independent women. I saw my mother immigrate to America and make something great of a not so perfect situation. I grew up seeing her hustle and always tried to emulate that independence. I was class valedictorian in high school, graduated with a bachelors and have been a nurse for 3 years.

Last year, I got pregnant and decided to put my career on hold and let the father of my child become the primary breadwinner. I have been so happy to take a step back from nursing and really delve deep into this experience of motherhood. I know many moms don't get this luxury. But as of lately I've been feeling very lost. I don't have that independence I use to, financially or socially. I feel like I'm missing out on opportunities to further my career and improve my own quality of life. But I also have extreme gratitude for the time I'm getting to spend with my child. I know in time I'll be able to get back to work but I just feel stagnant right now.
