🇯🇵Japan in Singapore ??🫣

I posted the first pic on my ig story and a couple of ppl actually thought I was in Japan HAHA I wish too🫠 It’s actually a cafe located in Serangoon!

Location: Cafe Gyoen

The train station setting is actually their toilet 😭 but very creative and unique concept nonetheless, a good photo spot 🙂‍↕️ Food wise things are pretty pricey but I would say it’s the standard cafe prices in sg 🧍🏻‍♀️

Mentai Udon

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐

It was good the first few bites, but then it got gelat very quickly and I kept comparing it to the carbonara udon from keijometo 😭

Wagyu Tataki Beef

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5

This was surprisingly good 😳 the meat was so tender and juicy it was mind boggling 🫨 4.5 stars only cos the meat can get pretty salty by itself

Strawberry Matcha Oat Latte

Rating: ⭐⭐.5

Sorry I can’t :(,,,the strawberry was too sweet and completely threw the balance off with the matcha,,,I was happy that they offered oat milk option but I realised I paid $10+ (aft 10% service charge ) for this drink which was totally not worth it 😭😭

Grape Cream Soda

Rating: ⭐️⭐️

Idk if it’s us but the drinks we chose was just not it LOL, the soda is def syrup and tasted rly artificial, only thing good was the ice cream on it 🥹

Verdict: The food is decent here but maybe skip the drinks or just the drinks that I got cos they were def not worth it 😭
