I’ve been celibate for 3.5 years..

I decided to go celibate because I wanted to continue working on myself and healing myself. I wanted to dig deeper and understand myself more. I wanted to understand why I was attracting certain type of men into my life and why I never got to experience the type of “love” other girls got. I found myself in the same sort of situationships, and attracting men that would only want one thing from me, my body. I learned that there’s so much that I still needed to work through and if it’s one thing I’m really particular about, its healing the younger version of me, because I know that she’s looking up to me now. I want to make her proud.

People don’t realize that having sex with someone, whether its casual or not, can create soul ties and create this energy transfer from one person to the other. So if you find yourself in a position where you are intimate with someone and you have good energy and they have bad energy, and you guys have the sex and then all of a sudden you’re feeling really anxious, sad or depressed about yourself, it’s because that person is literally transferring that type of energy to you. Your body is phenomenal and has a crazy way of showing signs of physical distress when you’re with the wrong person.

Celibacy is celebrating and loving yourself inside and out. It’s taking a break from temporary highs and focusing on building a stronger and healthier relationship and foundation for yourself so that you can thrive in future healthy relationships. It’s learning to value yourself, respect yourself and pour into yourself more and more each day and to enjoy being in your own company.
