Panera dupe ‼️

It was cooler yesterday and perfect for some fallish soup & bonfire in tow. 🎃

I decided to make Panera’s broccoli cheese soup! I’d been craving it and it sounded delicious.

Here’s what you need:

6 tbsp of butter

1 cup diced onion

1 clove garlic- minced

Add these to the pot and let them cook together so soften onion!

Add⤵️

1/4 cup flour and whisk together- it’ll look clumpy but that’s ok! Add 3 1/4 cup milk slowly and 14.5 oz chicken broth with 1/2 cup heavy cream.

Then add your cut up broccoli and about 1 cup of shredded carrots with salt and pepper of your choice.

Let this all simmer together to let the broccoli soften then maybe an hour before serving add 3 cups of shredded sharp cheese and 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese.

Serve with biscuits!

So yum. I almost wanted to make a bread bowl just to realllyyy keep it Panera vibes. 🤤
