🤍 My Story: I started my career as a photojournalist in college at my school’s newspaper. It wasn’t long before I fell in love with photography and the magic of the camera! But the newspaper life just wasn’t for me…

🤍 How I Felt: Being constantly on call at a moment’s notice for any newsworthy events was making my life miserable. I wanted to take photos of what I loved on my own time.

🤍 My Takeaways: I started my Master of Fine Arts degree in Photography last fall! Since then, I’ve been strengthening my artistic practice by experimenting with new mediums and concepts.

My art is heavily influenced by my experience as a late-diagnosed autistic woman and often features elements of neurodivergence.

I want to use this space to share my new foray into creative arts for cognitive and mental wellness💓
