flying with JUST a personal item?!

i am flying from indiana to california for a quick 3 day trip. my kanken is my trusty backpack! i flew with it to milan for a long weekend so i knew i would be able to fit everything!

these are my rules:

🩲only pack what you NEED and then an extra pair of underwear

👚roll everything!! it saves so much space

🪥don’t forget to pack your liquids in a plastic baggie

🧥wear your chunky stuff on the plane - i’m wearing a hoodie and my tennis shoes to save space

👜invest in a fanny pack! because it is on you, you can easily hide it under your hoodie if staff say that THAT is your personal item. keep your wallet, charger, headphones, and medicine in there

this was my packing list for a 6am Tues - 6am Fri trip:

•non liquid toiletries

•liquid toiletries

•water bottle

•2 t-shirts and 1 nicer shirt

•2 athletic shorts and 1 jean shorts

•2 pajama pants

•1 pajama top (for me, this was just a t-shirt)

•fanny pack with important stuff

•3 pairs of socks

•2 sports bras and 1 regular bra

•4 pairs underwear

•swimsuit (if needed)

•sandals (if needed)

•tennis shoes
