Kid friendly things to do in Des Moines, Iowa!

📍Pappajohn Sculpture Park

On a nice day this is one of our favorite things to do in Downtown Des Moines. Even better it’s totally FREE!

Located in the heart of downtown Des Moines is a cool Sculpture Park. Not only does it have unique art pieces to look at there are walking paths and plenty of grass to let your littles run around on.

We love to spend a morning grabbing coffee near by and letting our son run around from sculpture to sculpture.

Or we bring a lunch and have a picnic!

Even though there isn’t a play ground our son asks to go regularly. He loved the giant hill, it’s perfect for looking out at the city or rolling down!

This park is also dog friendly!
