Starting your day off with a high-protein meal will help to keep you satiated throughout the day. I work out in the mornings so I like to refuel my body with a high-protein breakfast after my workout. These are 5 of my current favorite breakfasts that I have in my rotation.
I aim for a minimum of 30 grams of protein in my breakfasts!
You will see egg whites in all of these breakfast ideas. You can use whole eggs instead if you prefer. The yolk is filled with so many nutrients & healthy fats. I personally do not like the taste of the yolk so that is why I just use egg whites. But if you like whole eggs, use those instead to get even more nutrients in these breakfasts! Egg whites are such an easy, low-calorie way to sneak protein into your meals!
I tend to make different variations of breakfast with the same staple ingredients. I like to have a well-balanced meal (good protein, healthy fats, and a good carb source). I try to use as many whole foods as possible. The only breakfast idea that is packaged is the protein pancakes & sugar-free syrup. Balance is key here!
