My Thoughts on the Summer I Turned Pretty Series ☀️

Ok so I know we all love the series, but in my opinion the books are kind of lackluster. The books are YA and they’re 12+ whereas the show is 16+. I feel like the age difference alone makes the show deeper. I was expecting more summer vibes from the books that the show does a great job at. I feel like only the first book achieves the summer vibes you would expect. Regardless, I’m so excited for season 3 of the show when they release it! 🌺☀️🌊
