from a sophomore Marketing Major at Texas A&M University 🤠

1. I LOVE MEN…I think men are the coolest

They’re so fun! And frat boys are HOTTIES.

But girl, there are so many qualities about you that make you so extremely worthy of an amazing relationship. If someone is not willing to date, bring you flowers, open their truck door for you, make you feel loved, learn what makes you feel special, etc. it is not worth it!! Keep your standards high, have fun, and don’t be afraid to go on dates and get to know as many people as you can. 🫶

just don’t forget how beautiful and extraordinary you are, because there will be a ton of guys that shoot their shot- and if you don’t have in mind what you will and will not tolerate coming into college, it makes it harder to know what you want.

2. MAKE GIRL TIME ✨

you don’t have to be in a sorority to make great girl friends. But you need a good community of people that can pick you up on days you’re not feeling your hot girl walks, you ran out of dining dollars for Starbucks, or you just need to blast music and drive. My girl friends are my home some days, and having them makes my life so sweet and full of love🤍

3. JOIN ORGANIZATIONS 🏊

At my school there are a TON to choose from. I am in Women in aviation, Sisters for Christ, and the Triathlon team! This is hands down the BEST PLACE to meet people with similar interests as you, which leads to a friend group that you love to be around. Sometimes it’s hard to make friends in classes because you’re only there for a semester, but orgs offer year long, and college long membership.

Orgs also have social events, mixers with other organizations, community service opportunities, leadership, and many other bomb thins.

Great for your resume, great for your mental health, and a great way to get involved.
