Lavender Haze (AKA Aviation)

Happy Pride weekend and happy Taylor Swift weekend, Minneapolis! Pregame the Eras Tour with this Lavender Haze inspired cocktail (aka the aviation). It's light and refreshing and perfect for these Cruel Summer nights.

Ingredients

2oz gin

0.25oz crème de violette

0.25 oz maraschino liqueur

0.5 oz lemon juice

0.25 oz simple syrup

for garnish

maraschino cherry

lemon

Directions

Select a 5 oz coupe, Nick and Nora, or champagne flute and chill while preparing the cocktail.

Add all of the ingredients to a mixing glass. Add a generous handful of ice and stir with a stir spoon until the corners of your ice cubes are rounded, about 30 seconds.

Strain into your glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry and express the oils of your lemon swath. Enjoy.
