Quick over of my situation (to see if this will apply to you)
• Work full time
• Online school
• can’t stay focused
• Drag my feet when it comes to doing school work
I also have had a part time job thinking the open time would help me study, but it didn’t so here is what is FINALLY sticking:
• 1 hour of study a day
• at Library, or coffee shop, never at home
• I head to the study session IMMEDIATELY after work.
• I bring a change of clothes so I feel like a person, and not like I am still working (not typically sweatpants, I tend to put an actual outfit on)
• Set a timer on my phone
• Listen to ADHD Lofi playlist
Within three weeks I did an entire class. An hour is just enough to be productive, but it doesn’t leave me feeling drained. If I do it everyday after work, that’s 5 hours of studying and I still get the weekends off. I know this won’t work for everyone, but I can not commit to 3 hours even if it’s just two days a week. I would rather just do one hour a day lol
