Only took me 11yrs 😶

This is such a crazy book. As a kid I don’t know why I didn’t read it? I remember feeling either bleh about the cover or knowing so many other kids liked it that it made me anxious. What if I didn’t like it? Well I do!

It only took me like 11 years to read it.

It’s so strange to try to teach physics to 10 years olds, but that’s exactly what this author does. That and time and space travel. There’s so many metaphors and allegories to love, family, growing, friends, fears, and more. I would’ve probably read the whole series. That being said I don’t think I will now that I’m old :(. I didn’t watch the movie either and now I want to even though I know it won’t measure up.

Anyways, if you want:

-that daydream feeling from being a kid

-hazy childhood whimsy

-representation of the whiny kid committee

-the power of ✨friendship✨against literal death, carnage, and mental slavery.

-to bring your absent father home!
