A Christian’s View on Homophobia

Homophobia and hate crimes on people of the LGBTQ+ community is wrong. It says it in the bible. God says for us to love our neighbor as ourselves and that is what we should do. I am sorry for anyone who is apart of the community who has received hate from christian’s. In gods eyes every sin is the same. So therefore being gay is the same as having sex before marriage or lying in gods eyes. Just because you are gay does not mean you can’t have a relationship with God, and it makes me sad to think that many people around the world have been strayed from God due to religious trauma from Christians who don’t understand God’s word and decide to take what should be love and turn it to hate.

Everyone deserves to be loved, especially love from Christians because we know very well that our creator is love, so there is no excuse for hate on the LGBTQ community.

May i ask any Christians reading this to take this in and stop your hating of gay people. May you love them like your brother and your sister.
