Rating All The Matcha Latte I’ve tried in 📍Tokyo

Autumn season coming soon in Japan and I’ve been reallyyyy missing all the drinks I’ve had in Tokyo! So here’s my super honest review of all the matcha lattes I’ve had in Japan

🍵 LATTE ART MANIA TOKYO: 7/10

Latte Art Mania is a small coffee shop opened by one of the latte art championship in Japan, located at Gaienmae station (1 stop away from Omotesando). Their matcha latte was not bad but not as thicccc as I wanted it to be. Their coffee and desserts selection are good tho! But the vibe here is really top tier cause all the baristas are superrrrr friendly and speak good English. You will feel super welcome and happy here~

🍵 ATELIER MATCHA: pls just try this/10

BRO I REALLY WAS IN SHOCK like I didn’t know matcha can taste this good. Before coming here I barely have any expectations cause it’s not as popular as other cafes on this list but broooooo their matcha latte is everything I’ve ever wish for 😭 She’s smooth she’s thicc she tastes like heaven!!! The best drink I’ve had in Japan!!

🍵 sorama coffee: 5/10

This cafe located in a quieter area of Omotesando. It’s a nice place to spend a chill day and chit chat with friends. However I barely remember how the matcha tasted cause it just very forgettable 🥲 I only remember it to be quite watery. The staff was so nice thooo as she super accommodating and I feel like I’m not in Tokyo anymore but some small village in Japan.

🍵The Matcha Tokyo Miyashita Park: 4/10

note to self: never choose soy milk to go with my matcha cause for the first time, I struggled to finish half the cup. I also think their matcha is diluted.
