Visit the Louisville Slugger museum in Louisville, KY.
It might be because I grew up playing softball, but this was so much fun. We went on a tour of how all the wooden baseball bats are made.
They showed us differences in the types of wood and what that means in bat making. We got to see the types of bats certain players like and they are all custom made for them in this factory.
They also gave us mini bats to take home so I gave them to my 2 boys.
Highly recommend especially for you sports moms out there!
