Grey Area Cafe: 10/10 NUTELLA COOKIES 😍🍪

Came here for the coffee but got blown away by the Nutella hazelnut cookie instead 🤤🍪 Loved the vibes of this cafe - was rlly warm and bright with some industrial touches and generally super clean and minimal! It’s a perfect place to go to for a nice catch-up with your friend over some coffee and pastries 🥰

🧋 Iced Oat Latte (6.5/10)

I’m typically a fan of stronger and nuttier coffees, so this one wasn’t exactly up my alley since it was probably the more fruity type of roast. Decent but could be stronger in my opinion for a more robust kick! 🤪

🍪 Nutella Hazelnut Cookie (9.5/10)

Almost literal perfection!! Was not expecting Nutella to ooze out from the centre when I cut into the cookie but I’M HERE FOR IT 😍 it was perfectly crispy on the outside yet has a chewy texture (a bit like subway) but the inside was still runny and gooey with Nutella and paired with the slight sprinkle of salt on top, it just really balanced the whole cookie really well! If you’re not a sweet tooth tho, you might find this slightly sweet, but pair it with coffee and you’re good to go!! 🤎

🍌🍞 Banana bread (8/10)

Pretty decent slice of banana bread that was really fragrant and crumbly (not those sticky kind) so I felt that was really nice!!! It could be a little dry to have it alone tho so maybe pairing it with a drink would be better! 🌞

Overall verdict:

DEFINITELY would go back especially if I’m just looking for a quiet cafe with a nice ambience to catch up with a friend!!! Also I’m so interested to try all of their cookies hehehe 🤤🍪
