How do you know when it's time to call it quits? The truth is, there is no easy answer. I fell in love with the man of my dreams, who checked off all of my boxes. We were happy for a while and have shared so many beautiful memories and life experiences together.

Falling out of love is hard but it is also a natural part of love. Some people are meant to be in your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. I am thankful that I walked away with love still in my heart. It is hard to accept that the person you love and who loves you may not be able to give you all that you need in a partnership. It’s hard not to take it personally and I have had to heal from the ways that I felt abandoned in this relationship but that does not mean there was no love there, it just means that sometimes love isn’t enough.

Questioning my relationship with M was one of the hardest times that I battled with for many months but I look back at my relationship knowing that I would not be the person I am without him and the love we shared.
