my biggest regret 😭

when I was in college, curology started getting super popular. from an early age I started breaking out terribly, and on top of that, I struggle with OCD picking. at this point I was desperate to try anything that wasn’t accurate or birth control, so I caved and subscribed.

like any new exfoliant or skincare medication, I went through a rough purging stage for a few months, but pushed through it and my skin was literally GLASS. best my skin has EVER looked and felt, I was SO happy!! not only that, having my skin look this good gave me the motivation to stop picking at my skin. I felt like a new woman when it came to my skin.

since my skin was clear and looking great, I canceled my subscription, thinking my acne was “cured.” boy was I wrong 😭 within a few months my acne was back and worse than ever. I don’t know why I didn’t resubscribe.. maybe because I was broke broke in college 🫠 but the investment was so incredibly worth it. I should have never stopped.

I recently started back on curology and will be documenting my journey again. while I have a lot more pitted scars that may need more intense treatments, i’m hoping it will at least clear up my acne again. 🤞🏼 feel free to follow along with my journey to hopefully feeling more confident in my skin soon🤍
