The Coolest Attraction in Anacapri, Italy 🇮🇹

This is a must-do attraction on the Island of Capri in Italy! The Monte Solaro Chair Lift in the commune of Anacapri, Italy is one of the coolest excursions I have ever done!🇮🇹😆

The attraction starts at Seggiovia Monte Solaro, which is the main station that takes visitors up to the top of Monte Solaro. The station for the Monte Solaro chair lift is in Via Caposcuro in Anacapri, near Piazza Vittoria.📍

Visitors can ​enjoy incredible views of the Gulf of Naples with Vesuvius in the background, the Gulf of Salerno, Anacapri, the Island of Ischia, and the stunning beauty of the sea. Monte Solaro is also the highest point on the island of Capri, so it definitely offers breath-taking views!🌊

The chair lift ride is approximately 13 minutes for a round trip, or 6-7 minutes to go up or down one way. The chair lift sits one person per seat, so if you are going with a group, then you will each be separated during the journey up and down.🚡

The views during the ride are insanely stunning, as well as the views once you arrive to the top of Monte Solaro. I recommend giving yourself about 1.5-2 hours to do this attraction so that you have plenty of time to see the beauty from the top!⛰️

A round-trip ticket currently costs €14 per person and a one-way ticket costs €11 per person. There is the option to hike up or down the mountain, but I really recommend taking the chair lift at least one way as the experience is very unique and cool!😆

The chair lift operates year-round‼️

🗓️ May - October: 9:30 AM to 5 PM

🗓️ November - February: 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM
