So easy to make and sooo good. I was inspired by the book Autumn at Apple Hill by Angie Ellington. Itโ€™s PERFECT for Fall! ๐Ÿ‚

Hereโ€™s the cookie bar info!

* 1 package of Pillsbury Ready to Bake Limited Edition Salted Caramel Apple Cookie Dough, room temperature

* 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

* 1/4 cup salted butter, melted

* 1/4 cup rolled oats

* 1/4 cup brown sugar

* 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

* 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

* 1/2 cup caramel topping

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9โ€ณ square dish with parchment paper and spray it with baking spray. Itโ€™ll make it easier to pull the bars out.

2. Press the cookie dough into the bottom of the pan. Itโ€™s much easier if itโ€™s room temperature. Make sure itโ€™s an even layer.ย 

3. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until itโ€™s light golden brown on the sides. Remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly.

4. In a bowl, mix the flour, melted butter, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and chopped walnuts until it becomes a crumbly mixture.ย 

5. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the baked and slightly cooled cookie base. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the caramel layer.ย 

6. Bake for another 35-40 minutes or until the cookie layer is completely cooked and the edges are brown and crispy.ย 

7. Let the bars cool completely, slice, and then serve!
