Teachers Appreciation Week

this week is teacher’s appreciation week at our child care center! I love this week not for the gifts I receive, but for the little things that make me smile and are the reasons why I love teaching. 👧🏻

we’re different than regular school teachers. we might not make a lot of money and be severely under appreciated, but child care teachers matter, too. we influence the youngest of minds, help them learn, grow. we get them ready for kindergarten and the school system! we see them take their first steps, say their first words, potty training, recognize their letters, and so much more!

plus, we don’t get summers off!! 😝

but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I love my three year olds. their the smartest, most courageous, loving little characters who just love having friday dance parties, reading “magic mickey” (fantasia’s sorcerer’s apprentice), having pizza parties and pajama days! they can make you smile even if you’re having a bad day, and will say “I love you” and ask you to be their best friend even if they just met you.

so thanks for loving me and letting me teach these little minds! 🩵
