rating pilates studios in sg 🧘‍♀️✨

hello !!!!!! i've tried 7 different pilates studio in sg and thought i'll give my opinions on them 😼

1) Fly Project

rating ✨ : 3.5/5

there are 16 reformers and i went for their beginner class and tbh ntg really stood out to me...the place was very peaceful though ! however, the instructor was pretty soft despite using a mic ??? and bc of the big class size, she didn't really went around correcting our postures...she also didn't really explain which body part to engage so :/ wouldn't recommend you coming here if u're a first timer !!!

2) Line Pilates

my favourite pilates studio !!!! -0.5 because of the lack of amenities but all of their instructors are super well-informed and will explain to you the exercises IN DETAIL (esp sarah !!!!) there are only 8 reformers so u'll have more attention and they will correct your posture 🤝 i SUPER reco this studio for first timers 😼 but their reformers are not as new as the other studios but that's because they have been around for q some time so um ig that's the only downside 🤣 if not its super convenient as well 👍

3) SG Pilates

the first time i was here i thought it was still alright but the second time i went i was so disappointed bc the instructor spent sucha long time on warmups ????? and ig the only reason why i went back was bc of the pink reformers which i thought was pretty cute and also minimal attention to students even though there were only 8 reformers 😾 ig it really depends on which instructor's class you go for HAHAHAH

4) The Flow Playground

This studio is tied with line pilates in terms of their classes but bc they have better amenities so its a 5⭐️ for me !!!!!! i went for both of the founder's classes and it was a really gooooood workout and they were super encouraging as well !!!!! but i think if you are totally new and have not been exercising for awhile, you should go for line pilates first before trying this studio...their classes really pushes you in a good way and ur legs will turn jelly afterwards 🤣🤣 super cozy studio and super convenient as well !!! ~3mins walk from maxwell mrt

5) Ascend Fitness

i went for their sculpt55 class and their exercises were quite different from the normal pilates exercises ???? so it was quite refreshing but the vibes were so dead...the instructor was not friendly at all and she was so soft and even though she came and correct me she was like super unwilling ???? also the studio smells like men's deodorant 😾 also heard from my other friends' experience that the other instructors lowk dk how to teach so :/ the only good thing abt this studio is that its cheaper than the other studios ~7 credits on classpass

6) Wunderbody

rating ✨ : 1/5 (yes, it is that disappointing)

i've had my first ever pilates class here and i came out of class thinking that pilates is damn boring LOL ok but to be fair i took their white level class only so i think i should go back for their more advanced class before making a conclusion but i rmb being so disappointed because we were literally just doing stretches that i cld do in my bedroom LOL also their instructor is SO NOT FRIENDLY and this isnt just my opinion bc all the reviews on classpass says the same thing !!!!! so :/

7) ELEV8

i went for their multi-level class and it was SO GOOD !!!! it is more of athletic style though 😼 and the instructor was so nice and went around correcting us as well ! and there are mirrors on the ceiling so you can check your posture even when you are laying down 🤝

that's all the studios i've tried 😼😼 would say that my favourite studios are tfp and line !!!! go try them out <3
