1. Mean Girls, 17 January

No your eyes do not deceive you, the Plastics are officially back on our screens. 20 years (we know!) after the original film was released, the film is getting a revival in the shape of an adaptation of the Mean Girls Broadway musical which was based on the original movie. Tina Fey and Tim Meadows will be reprising their roles as Miss Norbury and Principal Duvall. And leading the movie is Angourie Rice as Cady Heron and Reneé Rapp as Regina George.

2. Argylle, 2 February

In need of a new spy film? Argylle is for you. Elly Conway (Bryce Dallas Howard) is an introverted spy novelist whose world gets turned upside down when the events of one of her novels practically come to life, as she gets drawn into activities of a sinister underground syndicate.

3. It Ends With Us, 9 February

Colleen Hoover fans your time is now. In February, the long-awaited adaptation of It Ends With Us hits cinemas. The movie tells the story of Lily, who finds herself in a complicated love triangle with two very different men Ryle and Atlas, and the movie explores the generational cycle of abuse that Lily found herself in.

4. Dune: Part 2, 1 March

Following on from the incredible first instalment, Dune: Part 2 arrives in cinemas in early March and sees Timothée Chalamet return as Paul Atreides. He continues his journey with Chani (Zendaya) and the Fremen as he seeks his revenge against those who destroyed his family and prevent a terrible future, that only he can predict. And if that wasn't exciting enough, Austin Butler and Florence Pugh have also joined the cast.

5. Mickey 17, 29 March

Based on the 2022 novel Mickey7 by Edward Ashton, Mickey 17 is an upcoming sci-fi film starring Robert Pattinson and directed by Bong Joon-Ho. The movie focuses on an 'expendable' who is on a human expedition to colonise the world ice world Niflheim. After each iteration of the human body dies, another one is regenerated and keeps most of their memories in tact.

6. Rebel Moon Part Two: The Scargiver, 19 April

Rebel Moon Part One: A Child of Fire isn't even out yet and yet we're already getting excited for the second half of the release which will drop on Netflix in April next year. Created by Zack Synder, the movies tell the story of a peaceful settlement on the edge of the galaxy which finds itself threatened by armies of a tyrannical force. With no other options they send out a young woman to seek out warriors from neighbouring planets to help them stand against this terrible force.

7. Challengers, 26 April

Having originally been scheduled for release in September 2023 next April we will finally get to see Challengers. The film stars Zendaya as Tashi, a tennis champion who ends up coaching her husband (Mike Faist) in a Grand Slam competition against her former lover (Josh O'Connor). Cue tension, drama and cute tennis outfits.
