Touring Vet Schools 101

Cornell University of Vet in Ithaca NY! Mostly catered events for extremely young kids but had a panel for those applying…

Area surrounding was nice and beautiful but beware of bad roads🥴.

Some features were:

👍Pros:

- accelerated tracks for ungrad at Cornell to get into DVM

- PhD + DVM 7 year track

- conservation medicine track

- ~94 % have at least one job offer before graduation (double check me on the number).

❌Cons:

- no actual tour of campus grounds

- most events were work shops or petting zoos for young minds (not a bad thing but for an open house I expected more application and ungrad catered events)

- no interviews (they go off GPA and letters which is good and bad)
