5 things you must do when

When visiting glacier national park, there are a ton of things to choose from. It can be overwhelming.

The first thing you must do when visiting, is rent a kayak. You can get one from wogar village and kayak on lake McDonald all afternoon long. It was of my favorite things to do out there.

Next is hammocking underneath the Belton bridge. The bridge is located just outside the west entrance of the park and if you need help finding the bridge, you can easily walk into any of the convenient stores near the west entrance and they will guide you in the right direction.

Thirdly, Lake McDonald is known for their beautiful sunsets. Grab some snacks and relax at Apgar Village and watch the sunset one night.

Nedt is one of my favorite hikes on the west side of the park, avalanche lake. This hike is good for people who don’t like longer hikes as it is fairly easy and beautiful the whole way up.

Lastly, Grinnell glacier was my favorite hike ever and it’s just gorgeous at the top, but it is for more experienced hikers.
