✨When I first joined Lemon8, I saw that another girl here had purchased these patches to help her get through her college classes and immediately— it peaked my interest as I had never seen a patch for anything else other than nicotine.

✨So I was on my Healthy Girl Instagram and I started following this guy. He sells this stuff called Thrive. It’s protein shakes, energy pills and energy patches but it’s multilevel marketing (I googled it). There’s a lot of companies that do this multilevel stuff but his was the only one that had a patch… that I know of.

✨I know a lot of people hate MLMs aka multilevel marketing companies and I feel the same sometimes, but if you take away the sh*tty recruitment tactics, the products are good sometimes depending on who you are and what you chose.

✨Anywho, I requested a sample from him because I was curious and it was free. Also, he encourages people to request samples from him on his page.

✨When I got the three day sample pack, it came with 3 energy patches, 3 to go protein powder packs, and 3 packs of pills with two in each pack. The problem is, I don’t like taking pills and I don’t eat a lot actually. I don’t know if it’s because I didn’t eat that day that I felt sick when I took the sample but it DID give me a ton of energy!!!! I felt like it was working great but then out of nowhere I got really sick and NEEDED to lay down. I was actually on a FaceTime call with my friend when this happened so I have a witness to this story😭. I can’t stress the NEEDING to lay down. I got suddenly hot and weak so I never finished the other two days of samples. I still have them.

✨The thing about thrive is that they tell you take the pills as soon as you wake up with some water before your feet even touch the ground and then you’re supposed to wait 20 to 40 minutes before you take the shake or have any food. Those are their rules, and I think that’s what made me sick is taking pills and not having food on my stomach.

✨I even thought back to when I go to the doctor and they give me pills and they say make sure you eat before you take these, so I think it’s weird that they would suggest you take pills without having anything on your stomach but water which brings me to

✨I haven’t seen too many bad reviews for these and although I have seen some people say they don’t work— everyone is different. I’m hoping they’ll work for me and they’re super affordable💵.
