This book might just might be one of my top 5 reads!

First of all, I’m a very hit or miss with Taylor Jenkins Reid, either loving or can barely get through her books. With that being said, I wasn’t expecting much from this when I picked it up, not having any idea what it was about but let me tell you, I could NOT put it down!!!

One True Loves follows Emma who’s husband was involved in a helicopter crash and was never found, reported as dead. After grieving for months and years, Emma is ready to stop putting her life on hold and live it to the fullest. The story brings you three years later where Emma is now engaged, moved home, & running her family’s bookstore. But what happens when her dead husband calls, alive and ready to see her after surviving for three years in the ocean.

One True Loves brought me to tears many times within my less than 24 hour read. The raw emotions, decision making and life lessons in this book are unmatched. I will continue to recommend this book to anyone and everyone. Additionally, it’s now been adapted into a movie available streaming April 14.
