Easy Fall Hike in NC

When the leaves start to change colors, I know it’s time to plan a fall hike. Bc what better vantage point for seeing the fall foliage in all its glory than the top of a mountain am I right?!

One of my fav places for a fall hike is Hanging Rock State Park. Not only is this hike only moderately difficult and offers amazing views, but it also comes with a free facilities center with public restrooms and a water bottle fill up station.

I’d recommend bringing water and stopping as needed for breaks along the way, but I am NOT an athletic girly and I still made it with ease! This spot is only around 2 hours from both Raleigh and Charlotte, and makes the perfect fall day trip adventure
