My book apps📚💕

Alright so let’s talk book apps! I’m broke I won’t lie lol with two kids I hardly have any spare money to spend on my obsession so here’s my personal book screen explained!!

Wattpad! Absolutely love Wattpad I’ve had my account for almost 10 years now and the longest I’ve gone without using it is 6 months 😅 they’ve got classic originals from hidden authors and I’ve lost count of how many books I fell in love with from there then turned around and bought the hardback cause they removed it when it was published… if you’ve watched the movie after just know it once used to be my absolute favorite 1D fanfic on Wattpad also rip Liam Payne my inner child is crying😭

bookfunnel!! I honestly only downloaded this because of “stuff your kindle day” one of my books wasn’t showing available on kindle so I tried the other option… come to find out if you know the right people you can get vip access with their book codes! Thought it was a neat little app and I’ll definitely be keeping it around as a just in case for the future!

Books!! This is just the regular Apple Books and I never used it until I had the bright idea to just look up “free books” 🤣 I don’t have a lot because I’m more of a 🌶️ romance but there were quite a few free mysteries, regular romance and even some paranormal for Halloween!! I ended up snagging witchcraft by Ruth Miranda, finding Cinderella by Colleen Hoover and never date your brothers best friend by Jules Barnard!! This is a different platform so it has different “free” books than kindle or Wattpad I do believe they participate in the stuff your kindle days because witchcraft came from one of the websites and kindle doesn’t have it this was another option!!

Audible… I honestly don’t use it much but when I do I use it for the podcasts 🤣 I don’t tend to listen to audio books because I don’t want to risk any little ears overhearing and i obviously can’t just plug in earphones while they do whatever in the background. They don’t mind real crime tho and my oldest will even get into the whats and whys with me lmao🤣

Notes!! If your like me you use your notes for anything and everything. It’s just right there and you know where it is by heart also the convenience is real!! I’m currently using it for my ever growing tbr and the occasional book that’s not on good reads. I use it for my own personal notes/ reviews on books, the parts I love and the parts that stuck out to me ext for ALL my books… it’s also handy in the pdf aspect!! For stuff your kindle day or even some of the books you buy online your able to download the book as a pdf and save it in your notes so you have it right there this is my favorite!!

Goodreads! I don’t tend to keep up with it if I’m honest there’s a lot of books it doesn’t have… I tend to get on here to just browse different books and look at different genres!

Libby!! This is basically your local library all on your phone! If you don’t have a library card you can apply for one through the app but depending on if you live in a small town you may have to go in to make one anyway!! Once you’ve got one made and everything connected together bam you’ve got an entire library on your phone to choose from!

Last but certainly not least kindle!! I’ve been obsessed with my kindle app lately after getting into all these “stuff your kindle” dates I love that I’m able to annotate and highlight I can also bookmark different pages and it leaves off on the same page if my phone dies randomly 🤣 I’ve looked up their free book option and they have an ok amount I’ve mostly been snagging all the good ones during the stuff your kindle days so keep your eyes out for those!!
