Cutting Out Family 🫣

One of the hardest things I have ever had to do in my life was cutting out certain family members. It is never easy to cut someone out of your life, especially if that person has been in your life for a long time. I found that cutting out family was especially difficult because one of the things that I value in life is family. 

I won’t go into much into details of what happened, but I just realized how different we were from each other and our personalities just really clashed with one another leading to arguments and disagreements about anything and everything. It was a toxic relationship and it was not doing anything for me and I made the decision to cut them out. One of my faults is for being too forgiving and letting a lot of things slide (when it shouldn’t be) and that definitely has come back to bite me. I definitely learned my lesson and learned that sometimes it is necessary to cut people out (including family) when the relationship is not bringing anything positive or good into your life and is just overall toxic just to save your own mental health and sanitiy.
