Water Lantern Festival ✨

I went to the water lantern festival twice. The first time was with my bf. It was so magical and fun.

First you check in and are given your package items. In our case we got date night which also included a mandala blanket to sit on. We put our lanterns together and drew on them while music played in the background.

There were vendors and food trucks which I enjoyed browsing. Lines can get long with food trucks so plan ahead! Usually these take place at a lake so you can definitely bring your own food.

Second time I went with a friend and enjoyed the sunset while we made our lanterns.

This water lantern festival is held throughout the U.S. so do take a chance to find your nearest water lantern festival!

Sustainability:

They clean up after the festival. Reuse and recycle the led lights. The lanterns themselves are made of rice paper and wood.
