Hey Austin foodies! Get ready to ditch your basic pasta 🍝 expectations ‍because Pasta|Bar, the hot new concept from Scratch|Restaurant, is a total game-changer! This spot isn't your average Italian joint, it's a flavor adventure around the world all served up all pasta style!

We strolled into this fancy new spot after securing a reservation for their first seating on a Friday evening feeling instantly impressed . The maitre d' treated us like VIPs , then it was on to pre-dinner drinks 🍸 and a table with our names on it – major intimate points .

We decided to splurge on the wine pairing, and let me tell you, the sommelier was amazing! They explained each wine in a way that was super easy to understand, making the whole meal even more enjoyable .

The real star of the show? The 13-course tasting menu . Think beyond tiny portions – these were flavor explosions inspired by all sorts of cultures! This just Italian folks, this is PASTA , and yes, it IS about the pasta !

One bite of the sunchoke dish and I was hooked . So unique, so tasty – a total party for my tastebuds! And the bread and butter? It was next level .

From juicy crawfish to perfectly cooked seabass , every dish was a masterpiece . The beef cuts were melt-in-your-mouth amazing , but the true champion? The chocolate mousse dessert. It was SO good, it literally made my brother's boyfriend cry tears of joy! (Seriously, that good!) 🍫

Reservations are released on the first of each month at 12 PM for the following month's availability. Each reservation requires a $25 deposit per person, which is deducted from the final bill. Some recommend booking reservations two weeks in advance.

Price tag? Steeper than your average meal at $195 per person for the tasting menu (drinks separate). But trust me, for an unforgettable experience like this, it's totally worth the splurge!
