As a former Brooklynite, I spent six years in the borough with in the vibrant neighborhood of Williamsburg. Throughout my time there, I stumbled upon countless coffee shops that I fell in love with, whether it was to catch up on work, read a good book, or just hang out with friends. If you're ever in the area, these are the must-visit coffee shops that I highly recommend!
Black Star
Carthage Must Be Destroyed
Hole in the Wall
Terms of Endearment
Bright Side
Oslo Coffee Roasters
Homecoming
Weekends
Little Choc Apothecary
First on my list is Black Star. Not only do they make my favorite iced latte in the area, but they also have an incredible selection of pastries that are perfect for fueling a productive work session.
Nestled within a beautifully repurposed warehouse, Carthage Must Be Destroyed is a unique organic eatery that specializes in breakfast and lunch. The interior is adorned with stunning decor, but what really catches the eye is the vibrant pink color scheme that permeates the space.
If you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy lunch and a cappuccino, I highly recommend checking out Hole in the Wall.
For those with a sweet tooth, Terms of Endearment has amazing vegan pastries that are sure to satisfy your cravings. It's the perfect place for a solo work session or a casual hangout with friends.
Bright Side is another favorite of mine, especially for their delicious coffee and brunch menu served up by friendly Aussies. It's a great spot to fuel up for the day.
If you're in a rush, Butler is the perfect spot for a quick coffee on the go.
For a no-frills coffee experience, I always go to Oslo Coffee Roasters. It's a local spot where six older men meet up every morning for coffee, and it's always so heartwarming to see.
Homecoming is another must-visit spot for me. You can grab a coffee and a houseplant while you're there - it's a perfect combination.
Weekends is where you'll find the best breakfast burrito in the borough, paired with a delicious latte. Take your breakfast to-go and head to Domino Park to enjoy the beautiful views.
Lastly, for those who love tea, Little Choc Apothecary is a cozy spot with a second-floor seating area, perfect for enjoying a kettle of tea on a chilly day.
