This Bible verse!!!! 😭🤎

So this Bible verse this morning hit like a bag of rocks on my face. I read a proverbs a day to make sure I am gaining the wisdom I need for my life that God requires us to have in order to have a successful, godly life…..and this verse basically summed it up for me, y’all.

The LORD tells us that to acquire (to learn or develop) wisdom is to LOVE yourself. And in other versions it says to LOVE OUR OWN SOUL.

This tells me that if I love my own soul, if I love myself I will learn and apply God’s wisdom to my life. As much as people don’t like talking about this, it is very real. A life apart from Jesus is a life on its way to hell. Hell is literally a place that was made for the devil and his demons, not for us! But we have free will and if we love this world and choose THIS life instead of eternal life with God, we are choosing to be a apart from God forever. And I’m sorry, but I can’t even function without HIM for 5 min 😭😭😭 I be so lost like I can’t imagine forever. So to learn HIS WISDOM- to acquire and apply HIS ways to my life and life as I should means I love my very own soul and I love myself enough to put His ways first but to also remain in His presence, not apart from Him. I love my soul TOO much to be in a place of eternal damnation away from GOD who literally is my everything. This world’s wisdom and ways will get you there- trust me, I know. And now that I am fully connected to my Lord and Savior- I am never alone nor will I ever be, I am full of love, peace and joy and I am on my way to be in Heaven with Him forever and ever. That is the joy we gain from being with HIM now- and to also share this GOOD NEWS to the world. I don’t wanna wake up and realize I did nothing for the ONE who literally died to give me a new life with Him. Learning and applying God’s wisdom to our lives brings blessings, prosperity, abundance, and peace! It’s so many benefits to what the Holy Spirit wants to teach us…and if we really think about it…look at the world’s wisdom- it’s literally the complete opposite 😭😭😭

But yeah, this verse was a WORD chileeeee 😭

Thank you GOD for your wisdom, thank you Jesus for your beautiful sacrifice that I’m even able to get this wisdom and thank you Holy Spirit for helping me to transform into what You need me to be!

To gain God’s wisdom is to love my own soul!!!! And baby I LOVE ME 😂🤎
