Hi besties! Since I am Filipino, Gugu Room has a special spot in my heart! First, because they are the same team behind Ugly Kitchen that was such a hit before the pandemic. Second, because it is Filipino-Japanese themed which is my two most favorite cuisines in the whole world! Three, their inspiration is Jose Rizal's (Filipino hero) love story with a samurai's daughter back in the 1880s! and FOUR, the food is so good! Cocktails, I must say is a hit and miss but their version of a Margarita is the bomb! Food, MOST are amazing. Just that the salpicao is a little too sweet for me, but overall. COME THROUGH, besties!
