famous gwehdo coffee roaster's little sister ☕️

i'm sure you've seen the viral café in hongdae that serves their food on conveyor belts and features a giant LED screen playing calmingly soft blue waves in the background~~ WELL i was awaiting to visit that outlet but settled for their smaller (but more disappointing) sister because if was right outside our airbnb! 🥸

lovely vibes, the baristas are so friendly even though we spoke 0 korean. they attempted to speak to us in english and it was all very wholesome 💙 one of the baristas also handed us a cup of the coffee ground that he was about to make coffee with, to smell the peach notes of the ground! 🍑

food & drinks — ☕️☕️☕️/5

they haven't got much food items but we had their brownie bars, brown cheese and apple crumble, and my friends said they were mid 😮‍💨 i thought they were okay, the brown cheese was cloyingly sweet so the apple crumble was much better!

google reviews praised their coffee so i'd recommend them as well! they said the hand drip coffee is a must for coffee lovers ☕️ for non-coffee drinkers the choices are pretty minimal, the café is clearly coffee-centric 🖤.

don't travel for this café!!!! i'd definitely recommend going for their bigger outlet at yeonhui-dong instead of this one at yeonnam-dong! but if this one is near you, it's worth a try ✨
