How it started vs How it’s going

I’ve been loc’d for about 2.5 years and I’m absolutely loving it. Sometimes I look at my locs and wish they were longe, then I remind myself of where I started.

I decided to loc my hair around the same time that I begin to truly prioritize my relationship with God. I didn’t notice at the time but my locs also symbolize my relationship with Christ.

I still struggle with things like everyone else but I can truly say my Trust in God is significantly greater than what it was 2 years ago. I’m so excited for what God has in store for my locs and my life with Him.
