Save your money and go to these spots instead!👀

When flying into Las Vegas you might be tempted to stay in the city but I’m here to convince you to immediately leave! There’s so much beautiful nature around the area and it’s a shame to miss out on! Here are 4 places to visit in the area!☀️⬇️

Valley of Fire State Park : This state park is only 45 minutes out of the city! It costs $15 per vehicle to enter and there’s so many awesome hikes to do here! I’d recommend these three easy trails: Rainbow Valley Vista (1.6km), Elephant Rock Trail (0.5km), and Petroglyph Canyon (1.1km)!

Zion National Park : This has to be my favourite National Park in the area! It’s around a 2.5 hour drive from Vegas but well worth it for the stunning nature here! Entry to the park is $35 per vehicle and it’s definitely worth visiting for a few days! I’d recommend these three trails: The Narrows (25km but you don’t have to hike the entire thing-we hiked around 2km into the canyon), Scouts Lookout via the West Rim Trail (5.8km), and The Emerald Pools (4.8km)

Arches National Park : This park is a bit far from Vegas at around 6.5 hours BUT it’s so worth the drive, especially if you’re checking out other spots in the area! The park is home to over 2000 natural arches and they are so cool to see in person! I’d recommend these trails: Delicate Arch (5.1km), Double Arch (1km), and Landscape Arch (3.1km)!

Grand Canyon National Park : This is a must visit if you are in the Vegas area in my opinion! It’s around 4 hours from Vegas but it’s worth the drive and there are many tour companies that do daily tours there! We didn’t hike much while we were there but these are a few viewpoints I’d recommend checking out: Mather Point, Yavapai Point, and Lipan Point!
