🎄Christmas Traditions🎄

🎁 - For Christmas every year we only buy each other 1-2 gifts. We're not materialistic people. I mean, I'd be happy with a rock you found on the street. Instead of showering each other with objects or expensive presents, we buy each other one or two gifts and then take turns buying each other snacks, drinks, etc. on a $15-20 budget at a local grocery store. We also get each other one small gift to open on Christmas Eve; a tradition my parents started two decades ago because my mother is very impatient 😂

🎅🏼 - For our daughter's first Christmas and beyond, she'll get a few wrapped presents from Mama and Daddy. Then, on Christmas Eve, we'll set out unwrapped gifts under the tree from "Santa."

🧝🏼 - Elf on the Shelf! My husband and I like to take turns every day hiding our Elf from each other and finding him in the house in the evening.

🎄 - My husband is HUGE on decorating for Christmas... and I'm not 😂 Christmas decorations are pretty, but they're a pain in the ass to take back down and I am not for it. He can decorate as much as he pleases after November ends, as long as he's the one to put it away, and I have a mini tree that I decorate.
