No one wants to have a picky toddler, everyone hopes they have a child that eats everything, but sometimes you just have a 2.5 year old who will only eat cookies and chicken nuggets, no matter what you do. 🤷🏻‍♀️

We have one of those children. Which- I can’t blame him I was a picky kid and I’m still a picky adult!

How do we mitigate/try to get him the nutrients he needs?

We sneak healthy foods into his diet!

1. High quality protein and dairy of things he WILL eat.

2. Vegetable “nuggets” and naked juices that include lots of different fruits, some veggies, and vitamin boosts.

3. Extra grains: Aussie bites (sweet quinoa), Bellvita Breakfast Cookies (healthy grains and protein), and of course- the trusted peanut butter crackers when all else fails!

We mainly shop at Aldi, but do get some of our groceries from Costco and Target!

Have you found more creative ways to sneak healthy foods in for your kids? I hope to find even more solutions as he grows, and find more fresh fruits and veggies that he will eat too (currently in an only apples and bell pepper phase! lol) Would love to hear your tricks! ❤️
