Studio Apt Must-Haves

Studio apartments can be tough - it’s hard to make one room feel like your living room, dining room, office, AND bedroom. But I love a good challenge!! Here’s my must-have list for decorating studio apartments:

- Lighting is the best way to section off areas to make them feel like separate rooms. Plug-in sconces are the perfect way to frame your bed, especially if you don’t have space for two full nightstands.

- Room Dividers serve an obvious purpose - and you can find really cute ones! It’s nice to “hide” your bed area if you have guests over, or you can use them as a Zoom backdrop if you work from home.

- Small bistro tables can serve as a place to eat OR a desk to work from, and the dining chairs can be used as extra seating around your sofa when friends come over!

- When it comes to studios (or any apartment for that matter) storage is key. Make sure every piece of furniture you choose provides some sort of functional storage. It’s very common for nightstands or end tables to have no storage.. but what a waste! Especially if you’re running low on square footage.
