——- I am obsessed with these types of photos. It’s an easy way to get those adorable candid shots to spice up the feed. & when they really are candid, it’s even more warming to look back at them.

2. LIFEGUARD ON DUTY 🛟💌

——- Lifeguard towers are always fun to shoot on. They’re perfect for solo pictures, duos, and group shots because of all the climbing room you have.

3. SUNRISE DATE 🌅🧡

—— Good for the soul AND good for the feed 🌞 Luckily, sunrise & sunset are the BEST and easiest times to shoot content when it comes to working with lighting. (we shot this photo set at 6:45am)

4. SUNSET LUVR 🌅💛

—— GOLDEN HOUR BABY! We love golden hour here. The peak time riiiight before the sun is about to go down. (see tips below — we shot this photo set at 7:30pm)

5. CAR SELFIE 🤳🏼📸

—— Easily one of my favorite go-to IG Story posts. Stepping the mirror selfie game UP, besties. If it’s reflective? I’m taking a selfie, 🫡💓🤳🏼 Car selfies are fun because you get your environment in the background (I try to park near palm trees or cute buildings) and you can even play around with purposefully placing things inside the vehicle inside the photo frame as well for added pops of attention.

♡ TIPS ♡

• Coordinate Outfits •

Whether you wear opposites, matching to a T, or in the same color family/theme - coordination always makes a photo stand out. I love seeing bestfriend photos where everyone wears complimenting color palettes.

• Shoot RIGHT before sunset •

6:30-7:45 Is my personal favorite time to shoot for sunset but I’ve even got some beautiful 8-8:15pm photos — everyone’s area is different. (i’m central time, panhandle of florida) I enjoy going from 6-8pm to be able to actually enjoy the sunset and grab some content.

• PHOTO SETTINGS! •

Everyone has a different preference but I love using the presets apple has now for a base edit. (i use the vibrant ones usually) If you deal with the issue of your photos blurring, go to camera settings, turn on apple pro raw under ‘photo capture’ and choose ‘most compatible’ under ‘camera capture’. There are so many TikToks that share different iPhone camera settings.

• PROPS •

I used to be the person who never had props in the photos and it really is a game changer. I’m still working on this because sometimes it’s hard to not make it look too posed, unless that’s what you’re going for! Flowers, Beach Umbrella, Beach snacks, Floaties, Goggles, Sunscreens, Etc.
