⭐️ Tetons were more enchanting than Yellowstone in my personal opinion; which was unexpected due to Yellowstone’s popularity. I loved the true connection you feel with nature in the Tetons.

⭐️ Yellowstone felt otherworldly; unique and had beautiful views that just didn’t seem as I mentioned “of this earth”, I was in awe catching the eruption of Ole Faithful with erupts about every 15-20 minutes

📝Description/Tips: FUEL UP! Half a tank is an empty tank. You can drive for 200+ miles in Wyoming without a single gas station (ALMOST as bad as Utah)

-BEAR SPRAY: these are not only black bears, this is GRIZZLY territory. Be cautious, loud and aware and never hike alone. Play dead or back away slowly, do not look away from the bear but do not look into its eyes as it may perceive that as a threat!

-ALTITUDE SICKNESS IS NO JOKE- I live at 5,000 ft elevation and hike regularly throughout Colorado and I still caught altitude sickness on day 3!

- BRING FOOD. Unless you want to spend $300 on cafeteria food, I would suggest dried meals, jerky, high calorie low volume foods WITH CARBS. Nothing that smells too good, remember bears are hungrier than you even after your 10 mile hike!

-Lifestraws, Water, GPS, AllTrails+ and download map of Wyoming entirely is a MUST. You WILL LOSE SERVICE and getting lost in Wyoming… welp, Good Luck Charlie.

💸 Price Range: We spent $200 on this trip only on gas by bringing our own food, drinks, and dispersed camping which is allowed in all BLM land and National forests residing right outside of the NP itself, So our stay was FREE!
