My Monthly Budget - March Edition

I create a budget every single month and track my spending against it. Here’s what my budget looks like for March:

- Fixed Expenses: I am budgeting 53% of my income here, which is in alignment with Ramit Sethi’s recommended range of 50-60%. And the total spend should be about $3,250.

- Investments: I am working on increasing my investments, because I am interested in financial independence retire early. So, I will invest 24% of my income, or $1,490.

- Savings: I am budgeting $650 to savings, or 11% of my income. I am working on increasing my emergency fund to six-months expenses.

- Wants: I set a budget of $800, or 12% of my income to wants.
