under-rated tip to save on car insurance👇🏽

The other day I called to switch my car insurance back to Geico from All State Mileage Wise. I don't drive much so I thought it'd be cheaper to pay car insurance based on how many miles I drove, but it actually ended up being more expensive lol, so my little 🍑 ran back to Geico for a quote

They sent the quote over for me to review and I saw they had a total of 3 options on how I could pay: monthly installments, only 2 installments, and then pay in full.

The pay-in-full option would have saved me over $250!! and with insurance already being so expensive, ya gotta do what ya can

Obviously, this wasn't exactly chump change, this was around a $1400 bill for 6 months of car insurance and ya girl wasn't prepared to cough that up, however, it did make me realize how much i could save if i just saved up for this so that I'm prepared in 6 months when it's time to renew. I've already set up my 'Car insurance' bucket in Ally (my HYSA) and I'll be snagging those savings next time for sure.
