How to wear the NEW IN COLOUR 💚

green is definitely this season’s in colour and i’m seeing it rising in popularity. found a top that immediately caught my attention and decided to challenge myself to a fit i don’t usually wear!

wearing striking colours can definitely seem daunting at times but here are some surefire tips that can help you look stylish and eye-catching!

💚 pair your striking colour with neutrals 💚

neutrals are the best color palettes to fall back on whenever you need something to mix and match with, and here i matched it with white shorts and black accessories to complete the look. I paired it with white shorts to help dim the green down a little, as compared to the darker black that might further bring out the contrast. i chose to use black in my accessorising instead so that there are mini pops of colour!

💚 stick to three colours in your fit 💚

this applies to all types of outfits whenever you’re trying to colour block or mix and match. having too many colours in one fit can be too overwhelming, making the fit look very messy. however by sticking to three colours, you can achieve a holistic look regardless of the colour combination. go for one main colour (green), one supporting colour (white) and the last one for accessories! (black)
